For our client a soft trading company we are seeking to recruit their head of trading-grain business to be based in Dubai.

Your Mission

Setting strategic and operational directives for the agricultural commodities business
Providing an efficient framework for risk management
Expanding the business on new markets
Developing effective relationships with counterparties
Being responsible of capital funds invested throughout the company's operations
Managing and advising the trading staff


Your Profile

Need to demonstrate an outstanding track records of managing and developing a soft trading desk
In depth knowledge on the functioning of physical and financial agribusiness markets on the Indian and african markets
Excellent managing and communication skills
Perfect command of English, another language is a plus
Excellent ability to make decision
Significant network within the grain markets

Fluent in English (written and spoken), any other language(s) an asset
Responsibilities :  Be responsible for fertilizers trading area into selected destinations by supporting current and developing new customer base
Contribute to define, develop and implement growth strategies in the specific area
Evaluate and manage various risks such as customers' financial risk, developments in the international market, futures market risk, etc
Contact/visit suppliers and receivers to develop new deals and strengthen the relationship
Maintaining customers' relationship
Liaise with different departments to ensure the smooth execution of the contracts
