BACKGROUND

A leading global provider of market data, Real Time information, newsfeeds and trading analysis to the Oil, Gas and Energy sectors is seeking a Product Trainer, Customer Support, Product Support Analyst with a strong background in customer support and product training to be based out of prestigious offices in Dubai. The position is to support clients and customers in the Middle East Region, GCS on Company products and services (mainly data/news and Information feeds) including revenue growth and customer retention, specifically in the area of product training and product utilization.


- Deliver product training to end users either one-on-one, classroom or WebEx
- Conduct effective phone demonstrations on data content, validation and functionality
- Support Customers and Sales in both pre-sales and post-sales activities in the effort to increase revenue and maximize retention.
- Liaise between business unit and Customer base with issues relating to product and technology.
- Provide Customer training via on-site visits, WebEx, phone or email to incorporate Company services into their workflow and drive Customer satisfaction and retention.
- Monitor, collect and report knowledge collected from customer interactions
- Interact with 3rd party vendors. Participate in training and relationship building through joint on-site customer visits
- Attend management, Sales, and Editorial meetings to present core information
- Adopt technical products and product portfolio via education and problem resolution for the appropriate business unit.

- Previous training experience either one-on-one, classroom or Webex at all levels
- Knowledge of or currently working in the Middle East
- Knowledge of Real Time Data Systems, Data Feeds, Information Feeds and platforms
- Familiarity with data feeds such as Reuters and Bloomberg
- Able to understand Customers' needs and absorb critical information that could result in additional revenue, potential down-sizing.
- Broad IT background, hardware, software, networking
- Possess technical knowledge to support and train Company services to both internal and external Customers.
- Able to influence individuals at all levels, give opinions and justifications
- Use organizational/time management skills to prioritize workload, schedule trips and training sessions.
