Role Overview:

Commercial Divers at M/S Nereus Subsea are responsible for performing underwater tasks such as Inspections, Hull Cleaning, Propeller Polishing and Ship repairs within specified safety guidelines. They utilize specialized diving equipment and techniques to execute tasks efficiently and ensure project objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct underwater Inspections, Hull Cleaning, Propeller Polishing and Ship repairs activities as per project requirements.
  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols and procedures to ensure personal safety and compliance with industry standards.
  • Maintain and operate diving equipment and Hydraulic tools, ensuring their proper functionality and safety.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve project goals and maintain operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
  • Certified Commercial Diver (ADAS, IMCA, or equivalent) with experience in commercial air diving operations.
  • Divers should have valid FIRST AID training and STCW courses.
  • Valid DMT course will be an additional benefit.
  • Diver should have a valid diving medical.
  • Proficiency in using diving equipment, Hull cleaning equipment, propeller polishing, waterjet and other hand tools.
  • Strong understanding of underwater work environments, safety protocols, and emergency procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and under challenging conditions.
