We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Patient Financial Services Analyst to join a leading healthcare provider in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will provide direction and leadership for revenue cycle “Front-end” daily operations, including patient registration, insurance verification, billing, and cash collection. This role is essential for ensuring smooth financial operations within the healthcare setting, coordinating with various departments, and resolving patient billing queries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Revenue Cycle Management: Oversee daily operations related to patient registration, insurance verification, billing, invoice generation, receipt collection, deposit handling, and refund processing.
- Financial Counseling: Provide financial counseling to patients, assisting them with pre-authorization inquiries, payments, pricing inquiries, and enrollment into medical promotion packages.
- Patient Services: Manage insurance, credit, and cash patient services at the front desk level, ensuring accurate registration, eligibility management, and insurance verification.
- Receivables Management: Handle charge entry, billing, collection, payment posting, and analysis of receivable balances. Ensure accuracy and compliance with all relevant guidelines and regulations.
- Reporting: Develop and prepare concise monthly management reports to summarize collection performance and assist in calculating reserve requirements.
- Policy and Procedure Management: Prepare and maintain financial policies and procedures based on best practices in the healthcare industry. Support ad-hoc projects as needed.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
Minimum 10 years of experience in a hospital environment.
Extensive knowledge of third-party billing, collection processes, and healthcare financial operations.
Familiarity with CPT coding, ICD-10 CM & AM coding, and revenue cycle systems.
Strong understanding of the Ministry of Health (MOH), GOSI, and the Council of Cooperative Health Insurance (CCHI) regulatory environment.
Fluency in both written and spoken Arabic and English.
Proficiency in relevant computer skills (MS Office, ERP systems).
Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
