· Setup and operate/run a wide variety of Computerised Numerical Controlled (CNC) fibre laser cutting, brake press, punching and other conventional machines in order to accomplish the manufacturing and maintenance mission.
· Perform various CNC processes using different material types such as mild steel, aluminium, stainless steel and other non-ferrous sheets at dimensional tolerances as defined on the engineering specifications.
· Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams and schematics in order to accomplish precision machining according to part specifications.
· Process the first piece through the initial run, analysing the results and making critical adjustments to the tooling, programs and process parameters of machines.
· Verify the conformance of finished machining using conventional or digital precision measuring instruments.
· Comply with all safety, housekeeping and environmental directives.
· Maintain all equipment by undertaking all user preventive maintenance requirements.
· Ensure all issued tools, uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is accounted for, maintained and secured.
· Maintain the confidentiality and security of all company information.
· Support other members of the Fabrication Workshop in fulfilling their roles.
