Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Auto Mechanic / Auto Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicle systems, including electrical, mechanical, and electronic components. This role requires hands-on experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnostics and Troubleshooting: Perform comprehensive diagnostics on vehicles to identify issues related to electrical, mechanical, and electronic systems.
- Maintenance and Repairs: Conduct scheduled maintenance and repair work on engine components, braking systems, suspension, transmission, and more.
- Electrical Systems: Install, repair, and troubleshoot automotive electrical systems, including battery, wiring, lighting, and ignition systems.
- Component Replacement: Replace faulty parts such as alternators, starters, fuel injectors, sensors, and modules as necessary.
- System Testing: Use diagnostic tools and equipment to test and validate repairs, ensuring systems are functional and up to standard.
- Documentation: Accurately record all repair and maintenance work performed, including parts used, time spent, and any issues encountered.
- Customer Service: Communicate with clients about their vehicle issues and recommend repairs as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of proven experience as an Auto Mechanic or Auto Electrician.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of automotive electrical and mechanical systems.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to quickly diagnose problems and provide efficient repair solutions.
- Technical Tools: Proficiency with diagnostic and repair tools and equipment.
- Physical Stamina: Able to perform physically demanding tasks and lift heavy equipment as needed.
- Attention to Detail: Accurate in diagnostics, repairs, and documentation.
Education and Certification:
- Relevant technical certifications or diplomas in Automotive Mechanics/Electrical Engineering or related field (preferred).
