Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled General Maintenance Foreman to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) works and interior finishing, overseeing all aspects of maintenance and repair across various projects. The candidate will be responsible for managing on-site operations, coordinating with other contractors, and ensuring the timely and high-quality completion of all work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the daily activities of maintenance workers.
- Manage MEP installations, repairs, and troubleshooting, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Oversee all interior finishing works, including painting, carpentry, and minor civil tasks.
- Inspect completed work for compliance with specifications and standards.
- Allocate resources, materials, and equipment efficiently to maximize productivity.
- Communicate effectively with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders on project timelines and issues.
- Maintain documentation, including work orders, daily logs, and reports on project progress.
- Train and mentor team members to develop skills and adhere to safety protocols.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar foreman role, with a strong background in MEP works and interior finishing.
- Valid UAE driving license (mandatory).
- Solid understanding of maintenance and construction procedures, including safety and compliance standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Familiarity with project management software and basic computer skills.
