**Job Description:**
We are seeking an experienced **Plumbing Design Engineer** to join our consultancy team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing system design for various building types and extensive experience working within Abu Dhabi’s regulatory framework.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and design plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, and wastewater systems, for residential, commercial, and industrial projects
- Prepare detailed designs, drawings, and specifications in line with project requirements and local regulations
- Collaborate with architects, structural, and MEP engineers to ensure project integration and technical accuracy
- Conduct plumbing calculations to determine system sizing, pipe routing, water pressure, and material specifications
- Oversee regulatory submissions and approvals, ensuring compliance with Abu Dhabi building codes and standards
- Provide technical support during the construction phase and address any design-related issues
- Prepare bills of quantities and support cost estimation for plumbing systems
**Qualifications:**
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Plumbing Design Engineer, specifically within a consultancy in Abu Dhabi or the UAE
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other industry-standard design software
- In-depth knowledge of UAE and Abu Dhabi building codes, plumbing standards, and regulatory requirements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively with cross-disciplinary teams
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Experience with sustainable plumbing designs and energy-efficient solutions
- Knowledge of BIM practices and coordination for integrated design processes
