Position Summary:
We are seeking a Quality Controller to ensure that our finished products meet our high standards and to oversee the intake and delivery process for repair and restoration items. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational skills, have an eye for detail and has knowledge and knowhow of quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance:
- Inspect finished shoes and handbags for craftsmanship, materials, and overall quality.
- Ensure all products meet company quality standards before they are approved for delivery.
- Repair and Restoration Management:
- Receive items for repair/restoration, document their condition, and ensure accurate intake records.
- Take clear, high-quality "before" pictures upon item intake and "after" pictures upon completion.
- Factory Workflow:
- Assign work to factory staff based on production and repair schedules.
- Monitor the progress of repair and restoration tasks to ensure timely completion.
- Customer Satisfaction:
- Ensure all items are restored or repaired as per customer expectations before delivery.
- Collaborate with team members to address any issues or defects identified during quality checks.
- Organization and Documentation:
- Maintain organized records of incoming and outgoing items.
- Ensure all items are tracked accurately throughout the production and repair process.
Requirements:
- Language Skills: Fluency in Hindi/Urdu and English (spoken and written).
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detecting flaws or imperfections in shoes and handbags.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain detailed records, and ensure workflow efficiency.
- Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of shoe and handbag production and restoration processes (training will be provided). Strong computer skills, excel, word etc.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with factory staff and management effectively.
- Experience: Prior experience in quality control, shoe/handbag production, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
