Education :  Bachelors Degree
Experience :  1 - 5 Years

Skills :  - Proven experience as an facilities lead on at least three railway projects. Prior job satisfactory
performance is required.
- Appropriate years of railway facilities design, with emphasis on freight and passenger facilities work
related to railway infrastructure projects.
- Thorough knowledge of facility requirements as it relates to railway operations and maintenance,
preferably heavy freight railway.
Responsibilities :  The Facility Manager will manage the freight, passenger, operations and maintenance facilities of the
infrastructure through design and construction for a major railway project. Daily duties will include the
planning, design, cost estimating and construction of all facility aspects associated with the railway
project. This will include, but not limited to, freight, passenger, operations and maintenance facilities
and all other scope items related to the railway facility infrastructure works.

Description :  1)Review, and approve the preliminary designs, and selective final design activities performed by
others for all facility aspects related to the railway network.
2)Participate in development of and approve the facility design criteria, special provisions, and
performance criteria.
3)Review and approval of reports, specifications and drawings for facilities.
4)Closely coordinate with all other disciplines during the process of design development, and
construction of the railway network.
5)Participate in interdisciplinary reviews at all major milestones as
mandated by the project Quality Assurance Management plan
6) Oversee the coordination and execution of contracted services to ensure compliance with all
applicable codes, standards and specifications, as well as safety, contract terms, project budgets,
corporate policies, and regulatory requirements.
7) Partake in all activities related to the facilities of the wok during construction tender preparation, and
participate as required in tender technical evaluation, final design approval, construction supervision,
quality control, testing and commissioning as well as construction management of the project.
8)Participate in the resolution of disputes and claims during construction.
