Axiom Telecom is in urgent need of a Junior Brand Executive to join their workforce. The Junior Brand Executive (JBE) will be as dedicated resource within the van operation to assist in the development of Market Research, Trade Marketing and Promotional Initiatives with existing principals.
With direction from his Line Manager, and in consultation with the category manager the JBE will research, plan and action all promotional programs in support of the van operation strategy. The role will require:
Liaising with the principles to secure supports for promotional activities and NPIs
Analysis of the daily sales reports, and making recommendations where applicable.
Working with the sales force to exploit opportunities in the market
Managing and administrating Point of sales Materials.
Producing market reports for management and principals.
Planning and monitoring effective use of the budget.

In managing a diverse range of analytical tasks and manpower activities, the JBE will maintain a close interaction with salesmen, Market Manager, Business analyst, the trade, consumers, and be the main day to day associate contact with Principals for trade marketing related issues.
Principal Accountabilities:-
1. Functional:
Responsible for continuously evaluating the competitive advantages of the Brands in the associate portfolio and make recommendations in support of the van operations marketing objectives.
Research and the market place for all current methods of promotions and research trade accounts for preferred promotional methods.
Plan, action and evaluate promotional activities to maximize consumer off take for Product launches and re launches.
Execute all principals promotional objectives and programmes where plans are defined by ands agreed internally and with the principal.
Set distribution objectives for the point of sales materials and produce a monthly report detailing success by salesman by trade segment: stock levels and reorder details.
To undertake market research activities as directed by Line Manager.
Ensure principal provided and agreed planograms are implemented successfully in the market by facilitating training for salesmans and merchandisers, and agreeing implementation times scales with sales managers.
Conduct Retail Audit of Distribution on quarterly basis.
2. Organizational:
Achieve target of 25% time accompanying salesman/merchandiser in market per month.
Issue and present briefing document for all promotions to sales force.
Conduct regular performance reviews of distribution & merchandising standards and suggest corrective action where necessary.
Produce monthly reports as per agreed template.
Producing monthly and add hoc market reports for sales managers on promotional activity, according to the needs.
Maintain data bank of competitor information and market data relevant for the territory.
3. Financial:
Ensure that the budgeted allowances, claims and distribution of POS material set by the Market Manager are achieved.
Ensure all marketing campaigns are achieved within budgeted guidelines as agreed with the principal and / or the Market manager
Maintain an audit of expenditure and recovery plan, and included in the monthly report to the divisional manager, immediately highlighting any discrepancies in the plans.
Evaluate success and cost effectiveness of all trade related spend and report back to market manager and to any changes/ improvements recommended
Assure responsibility for advising finance in respect of all debit/notes to be raised for trade related activities.
Review balances in various promotion funds with finance on a monthly basis.

Specific deliverables:-
NPIs:
Keep track of new product launches i.e. date of shipment expected; launch date, coordinate with channel managers to prepare for launch plan.
Secure optimal allocations of new & existing skus in order to reflect strategic importance and tactical needs of channel.
Coordinate launch briefings for team, arrange POSM, dummy phones, premiums.
Forecast:
Compile bottom up forecast with trends in light of market intelligence, pricing dynamics and interdepartmental agreements.
Follow up on shipments with logistics, highlights deviations from plan and recommend solutions to close gaps
Coordinate with other dept to secure stock in case of low stock or OOS.

Job Summary:
In managing a diverse range of analytical tasks and activities, the Axiom channel sales business analysts responsibilities will include:
Optimizing and standardizing key business reports across the markets
Producing, analyzing and correlating sales, van productivity, stock availability, outlet productivity & market share reports by market by region by model
Establishing control mechanisms to monitor Distribution, OOS, Merchandizing quality etc including compiling data, preparing and sharing results and recommending corrective actions
Instigating and systemizing an effective monthly business evaluation process & recommending appropriate actions to management
Monitoring and reconciling budgets and key finance parameters with Finance HO in Dubai
Optimizing markets communication processes with Dubai office
Communicating & coordinating with regional sales teams to deliver activities on time and according to critical path
Keys tools and reports:
Standardization of key business reports across the markets
i.Ownership of Daily vans performance report- (Content, Frequency, Format, and Integrity of data
ii.Ownership of Stock report (Content, Frequency, Format, Integrity of data)
iii.Ownership of outlets analysis report (Content, Frequency, Format, Integrity of data)
iv.Exception reports (sales vs. target summary, Stock cover)
v.Management & reconciliation of Monthly Stock Order report with Rolling Sales Forecast -RSF-
Set up Consumer Off-take report: Prepare monthly off-take analysis at key outlet level
- Monitoring Off-take performance vs. InMarket Sales (identifying stock levels in outlets)
Competitive Activity report including tools, new strategies & pricing. For this, the business analyst needs to be fully aware of market trends, developments and competitive activities and be proactive in using this information to suggest actions to develop the business. The report should include insight into the current preferred trade promotional methods.
- Part of the accountability is to continuously evaluate the competitive advantages of Axiom and recommend actions in light of brand strategy and sales objectives.
- Maintain data bank of competitor information and market data.
Market Share Data analysis by market by supplier.
Prepare standard presentations format to assist Market Managers (i.e., Sales meeting, Quarterly reviews)
Correlate Off-take with activity performance
Set up Monthly report (Content, Format, Info relevancy)
Tracking all reports from Market Managers, consolidating and summarizing them for management
Maintain an audit of sales expenditure and ensure that all costs of activities are captured according to the agreed system highlighting any discrepancies to the Market Managers.
Propose and maintain a tracking system of all markets sales budget and reconcile with HO finance on a monthly basis
Prepare and produce a monthly analysis report of all markets sales budget depicting variations and running rate by program

Axiom Telecom is in urgent need of an Assistant Buyer to join their dynamic team.

JOB PURPOSE: To select and order the merchandise to be sold in the stores, which directly affects the sales volume and growth of the organization.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:-
Performance Indicators
1.Trend analysis - Regular check up on the market trends-pricing and promotion.
2.Over all Buying and merchandising - Allocation of models store layouts and showroom merchandising.
Day to Day ordering within the sophisticated ordering system.
Executing and verifying the purchase orders.
Initial and replenishing purchases to maximise sales margin.
3.Vendors - Coordinating with the major Principles of all brands.

JOB CONTEXT: Buyers play a very important role in the retail industry. They select and order the merchandises to be sold and the skill through which the do this directly affects the sales volume of their relative stores.
They coordinate stores, departments and maintain sales and inventory records as in when needed.

COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
