• Make sure trainers adhere to safety guidelines by putting away any used equipment during and after training sessions (fitness floor and exercise studios); report all unsafe/maintenance issues immediately.
• Ensure the Fitness Center, Exercise Studios, Office and equipment are clean, well maintained and
• secure. Ensure floor staff, trainers, etc. are keeping studios to standard
• Maintain department equipment and coordinate any needed repairs with engineering and/or outside vendors. Responsible for maintaining records for all equipment (maintenance/cleaning) and for troubleshooting maintenance issues
• Recommend capital purchases and coordinate any new deliveries, moving or training on any new equipment
• Keep current with industry trends and make recommendations for program offerings
• Hold meetings with staff and attend management meetings as required (Studio, reception, etc.)
• Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, conferences and workshops
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
