Senior Engineer
Position Summary:
A key member of the technical team supporting the definition, design, operation, compliance and implementation of a new cloud-based computing solution. Must be fully aware of state-of-the-art cloud-based technologies and products as well as industry best practices with regard to the implementation, deployment, compliance and maintenance of cloud-based global Customer Experience solutions. Experienced defining standard operating procedures for operations.
Demonstrated experience successfully deploying, monitoring and maintaining mission-critical production installations.
Mediumscale experience with various EC2 systems and AWS in general (VPC, Security Groups, ELB, Route Tables, CLI API).
Enterprise experience managing Public/Private/Hybrid cloud performance challenges and their solutions.
Expert level Windows Server 2012 administration.
Good understanding of the OSI stack, especially TCP/IP best practices, troubleshooting and current tools (Wire Shark, Fiddler, CLI commands).
Enterprise experience in Agile/SCRUM software development.
Perform standard changes and provide escalation support for complex technical issues per ITIL methodologies.
Participate in Tier-3 Support on-call rotation.
5+ years professional experience in a commercial or web-scale system software development and delivery environment.
Mid-level experience with software programming, to include: .NET (ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server scripts), Javascript, Java, HTML/XML, etc.
Expert level DBA experience with MS SQL Server 2012 or MySQL.
