Job Description:
1. Prepares all food items to order, following standard recipes and procedures within specified time limits.
2. Preps assigned items.
3. Washes and cleans raw food products.
4. Grills raw and prepped foods to order and to requested temperature.
5. Should be able to use skewers & charcoal grill.
6. Accepts or rejects ingredients based on quality and quantity.
7. Communicates with Kitchen Team Members, FOH Team Members and Management throughout the shift regarding status of orders and availability of product.
8. Minimizes waste of product.
9. Labels all food items for food safety and shelf-life standards.
10. Rotates product according to “First In, First Out” to maintain shelf-life standards.
11. Logs and discards all product not used by the end of the shift on the “use by” date.
12. Keeps the Grill Area neat, clean and sanitary.
13. Cleans, organizes, and maintains food items stored in the refrigerator, cooler drawers, prep, and dry storage area.
14. Stocks/restocks items according to specifications.
15. Understands and complies with food safety and hygiene standards.
16. Assists in an entire team effort.
17. All other duties as assigned.
Working Days and Hours:
6 Days a week, 9 hours a day.
Salary & Compensation:
While the salary and benefits depend on the level of experience and competences of potential candidates, the Grill Chef position offers an attractive package between 3,500 Dhs and 4,500 DHS. Transportation and accommodation will be provided by the company.
