Kit Middle East DMCC is a commodity trading company specialized in exports of frozen foods (mainly Beef and Poultry) into Middle East and Far Asian Markets. With offices in Brazil, USA and UAE and looking for a Sales assistant to join the team based in Dubai.
Key accountability for the role include:
- Contract management (keep the paperwork and files updated)
- Liaising of production and Shipping schedules with office in Brazil and or factories
- Facilitating the flow of information between the stakeholders
- Customer service: keep customers informed about schedules and progress of contracts
- Follow up on receivables with finance dept
- Development of related reports
- Business development support; sending and following up of offers to markets and customers appointed, when required.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience Requirements:
Knowledge:
- Supply chain/Logistics and export routines desirable
Education:
• BA Degree in Business Administration/Marketing/IMC/economics/Commerce or related field from a reputable university
Prior Work Experience:
• 2 years in FMCG preferable. Other work experience in sales/purchasing/Administration to be also taken into consideration
Language Proficiency:
• Fluent English
• Second language would be an advantage
Skills & Abilities:
• Analytical skills - ability to interpret complex data and distil into useful and actionable information
• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively.
• Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to communicate with Global Groups/Teams, Senior Management, Suppliers, Agencies, Customers etc.
