o To teach children with a range of special educational needs and disabilities either individually or in small groups
o Teach children with mild to moderate disabilities
o To develop programs of learning activities
o To plan, prepare, & research lessons
o To prepare & adapt teaching materials
o To check & assess students work and provide appropriate feedback
o To work constructively with the centers team to further develop the departments aims within the ethos of the school
o To liaise with parents and other agencies such as the medical profession, social workers, speech and language therapists, and educational psychologists
o To provide direct ad indirect instructional support to students in a positive environment
