Chartered Quantity Surveyor
Job Description:
The role of the quantity surveyor is to provide full support to projects with regard to all financial aspects, in addition to the contractual obligation and rights of the company toward the Client.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of the following
- Interim and final Payments of the projects.
- Cash flow schedule
- Suppliers/ Subcontractors payments
- Variations
- Assist and advise in all contractual, financial and legal aspects inclusive but not limited to claims, variations, time extension...etc
- He shall be fully responsible for all claims and variations (Preparation, negotiation and finalization) and is responsible for checking and finalizing interim valuations.
- Liaise with the client and consultant regarding financial and contractual aspects
Requirements
- Candidate must possess RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors)
- Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience as chief QS/Senior QS.
- He must possess thorough knowledge with FIDIC, CESMM3 and the contracts in U.A.E.
- Preferable age: Between 28 and 50
- He must be very thorough with Buildings and infrastructure contracts.
This position is not based in UK and is therefore exempt UK law.
