- Analyses industry and market environments at a macro level and relate this specifically to the business.
- Carries out market research at macro level and applies/makes recommendations to the business model.
- Assists in the preparation of business strategies and plans, including financial analysis.
- Prepares presentations, extensive reports and documents.
- Maintains various databases with information on markets, suppliers, customers, industries and polices.
- Ensures that key staff are briefed and kept abreast of latest industry developments.
- Forecasts industry/market trends.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
- Participates in additional projects as assigned by the Chief Operating Officer.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate from Ivy League University.
- Knowledge of clean technology, specifically Clean Development Mechanism.
- Knowledge of carbon credits and certified emission reduction.
- Strong experience in applying research methodology
Excellent analytical skills:
- The ability to analyze various information sources e.g. statistics, market data, business records, financials, business reports and media information)
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high quality standards of work
- Strong ability to work independently and use initiative
- Ability to communicate with all levels of management, especially the corporate team
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluency in English essential.
- Strong IT skills, especially Microsoft office software.
