Job Description: A housekeeper plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of residential or commercial spaces. The primary responsibilities of a housekeeper involve ensuring that living or working areas are kept clean, tidy, and hygienic. Cleaning and Sanitizing: Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors, carpets, and rugs. Sanitizing and cleaning bathroom fixtures, including toilets, sinks, showers, and mirrors. Emptying trash bins and replacing trash bags. Bedroom and Living Area Maintenance: Making beds, changing linens, and ensuring comfortable and welcoming sleeping spaces. Tidying up and organizing living spaces, including arranging furniture and decorations. Laundry and Linen Management: Washing, drying, folding, and ironing clothes and linens. Sorting and organizing laundry items. Specialized Cleaning: Performing deep cleaning tasks periodically, such as window washing, carpet shampooing, and upholstery cleaning. Following specific cleaning instructions for delicate or valuable items. Following safety protocols and using cleaning chemicals safely. Ensuring compliance with health and sanitation standards. Time Management: Managing time efficiently to complete tasks within the allocated time frame. Qualifications and Requirements: Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and cleaning agents. Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
