As an International SEND Teacher, you will play a crucial role in creating an inclusive learning environment for students with diverse and extra learning needs. Responsibilities

• Craft individualised learning journeys:
  

  • Design, advise on and implement differentiated instruction customised to each SEND students unique needs and strengths.
• Embrace research and innovative solutions:
  

  • Utilise a variety of teaching methods, assistive technologies, and collaborative strategies to engage students and optimise learning.
  • Engage in research and PD to best position you to support SEND learners.
• Foster a nurturing environment:
  

  • Create a safe and inclusive classroom where all students feel valued, respected, and empowered to participate.
• Collaborate with a purpose:
  

  • Work closely with other teachers, specialists, leadership and families to ensure seamless support, reporting, tracking and progress for each student.
  • Work with all parties to identify pupils who may be unrecognised SEND.
• Celebrate every milestone:
  

  • Advocate for your students, track their progress and celebrate their achievements, big and small.

Requirements

• Qualified teacher with experience in SEND education (UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa)

• Deep passion for inclusive education and a commitment to individual student success

• Strong foundation in differentiated teaching strategies and interventions

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills

• Cultural sensitivity and a spirit of adaptability

• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student well-being
