Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the home room Teacher for either Grade 1 or Grade 2 class.
  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons, collaborating with year group colleagues and the head of the phase.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to the professional development of both yourself and your students.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that focuses on growth, purpose, and a sense of belonging.

Requirements:

  • Certified teaching qualification (B.Ed, PGCE, or equivalent with a subject relevant Bachelor’s Degree).
  • Extensive experience in teaching the British National Curriculum in Key Stage 1.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues.
  • Ability to contribute to the overall school community, including running an afterschool co-curricular club.
