Job Description

BCM Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

BCMS Development and Implementation:
Lead the design, development, and implementation of the Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) in alignment with industry best practices and standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify critical business processes and dependencies.


Risk Assessment and Business Impact Analysis:
Conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities to business operations.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive risk register to prioritize mitigation efforts.


Business Continuity Planning:
Design and document business continuity plans, strategies, and procedures to ensure the organizations ability to recover quickly and efficiently in the event of a disruption.
Coordinate and conduct regular drills and exercises to test the effectiveness of business continuity plans.


Training and Awareness:
Provide training to employees at all levels on business continuity best practices and procedures.
Raise awareness and promote a culture of resilience within the organization.


Incident Response and Crisis Management:
Establish and maintain an effective incident response and crisis management framework.
Act as a key point of contact during incidents, facilitating communication and coordinating response efforts.


Continuous Improvement:
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the BCMS, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and emerging threats to enhance the organizations resilience.
