The PTE (Pearson test of English) Sales Enablement Manager leads and implements a global plan to enable internal and external audiences in their understanding and advocacy of the PTE test portfolio. The role is a high value-add business partner to the sales organisation, enabling revenue growth and increasing sales productivity by providing effective sales, resources and information sharing that is crucial to maturing and scaling our sales operations.
The role is responsible for enabling internal sales, recognition, and training teams to have a strong understanding and be kept up to date on new products, features, policies and processes. Working closely with both the PTE Sales & Product Management team, it is the role holders responsibility to capture product features, policies and updates across PTE platforms and ensure ongoing communications and training are available to internal teams. Training plans need to be consistent with the overall plans for the English Assessment portfolio. The role will have a strong interface with Marketing to ensure resources and communication are developed and appropriate to the various audiences.
The person responsible will be highly attuned to customer and stakeholder needs and expected to be relentless in their pursuit in increasing access, developing high quality content and delivering first-class experiences that both informs and excites audiences about our products. In partnership with regional sales teams the PTE Sales Enablement Manager will build engagement with key partners through the development and delivery of high quality training.
Responsibilities
Sales Enablement
Develop and execute an onboarding programme for PTE sales and recognition teams
Develop and refine communications and training resources to ensure PTE sales and recognition teams are suitably informed of new and existing products, features and services
Provide regular forums to connect sales, recognition, product, customer service and marketing teams and ensure they are kept up to date with new products, features, initiatives and processes.
Develop, execute and embed sales & reco tools/assets and customer facing collateral to support sales/reco conversations and growth, keeping it fresh with the latest data points and content
Support sales & reco teams to ensure customers understand and get maximum value from our test and preparation products
Manage and maintain a central place (ELL Sales Hub/Sharepoint) with the latest materials for internal sales teams
Provide support to external stakeholder engagement forums
Review, update and maintain PTE partners/agent training modules
Capture competitor insights and product comparisons
Evaluate effectiveness of sales enablement efforts to continually improve
G2M activity
Responsible for distilling and disseminating all information about a product launch or product update, ensuring that all sales, recognition, marketing and training teams understand how to position, sell and support the product offering, and that processes between sales/reco teams and customer services are optimised.
Support Product teams by coordinating customer facing activity such as product trials, customer feedback forums, and feedback loops with sales and reco teams.
Customer champion
Act as a customer proposition champion across GTM initiatives to ensure all internal and external execution is integrated and aligned to audience needs
Collaborate closely with PTE product team to ensure detailed understanding of product roadmaps, launches and releases
Reviewing and approving various types of customer communications (e.g. emails, brochures, etc) to ensure that theyre on brand and impactful.
Create regular and meaningful feedback loop to Product team acting as a conduit for Sales & Reco teams to inform roadmap/process enhancements etc
Collaborate with PTE Teacher Training Manager to build an ambitious engagement strategy for teachers and preparation partners that encompasses content, channel and go-to-market plans working with marketing and other internal stakeholders to deliver on a shared vision
Manage budgets and resources effectively
Qualifications and experience
University / College degree in any major or appropriate level of training and education experience
Experience of facilitating and/or developing learning and/or training materials for cross-cultural/linguistically diverse audiences, including digital product development
Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills
Confidence in presenting to a variety of stakeholders, both internal and external
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate and gain stakeholder buy-in across business functions
Ability to deliver under time pressure and work consistently to a high standard in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to work across time zones as appropriate
Strong organisational and time management skills
Proven ability to develop and deliver comprehensive and complex business information and to present these in a distilled version to colleagues
Knowledge of international education and/or English Language Teaching for Second language learners (desirable)
