Operations Specialist for a catering company in Dubai.
Essential skills:
2-3 years experience within a Logistics position
Candidate must have good experience with administration
Candidate must be organized
Candidate will need to be able to communicate clearly as they will be liaising with various departments
Key responsibilities:
Coordinate logistics for catering events, ensuring timely delivery, setup, and breakdown of equipment
Manage inventory of catering supplies and equipment, coordinating with vendors for timely restocking
Assess event requirements to determine the appropriate number of staff needed for drivers and on-site setup
Collaborate with the catering team to streamline delivery routes and optimize resource allocation
Oversee the loading and unloading process, ensuring efficient and safe handling of catering equipment
Communicate with drivers, staff, and event organizers to address any issues and ensure smooth operations
Implement and enforce safety protocols to guarantee the well-being of personnel and prevent equipment damage
Track and report on key performance indicators related to logistics and operational efficiency
Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall coordination and customer satisfaction in catering services
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continually improve operational processes
