Job Description

Purpose : The role involves supporting the Outside Sales in all aspects of sales activities and business development of the Building, Water and Infrastructure Division.
Liaison with Management, Staff, Clients, Suppliers, Partners and Authorities to ensure Sales tasks such as enquiry review/ material sourcing/ offer preparation/ order processing/ order expediting, and delivery/ document filling/ after sales are performed in a professional and commercially sound manner.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Client Relationship: from receiving project enquiries to processing orders through the company s ERP system. This includes preparing quotations and offers on time as per clients requirements and the company s strategy and supporting the sales team on technical and commercial negotiation while ensuring the offers follow-up.
• Inside coordination : involves providing necessary information to the sales team to prepare and edit the sales, coordinating with manufacturers and suppliers, assisting in sourcing and purchasing materials, and preparing cost and margin calculations.
• Relationships with Suppliers: involves selecting local and overseas suppliers for sourcing materials, issuing professional enquiries to suppliers, following up on their quotations, and reviewing their offers to ensure alignment with client requirements. Prepare sub-orders for group companies or external suppliers.
• Follow-up of the sales and after-sale: includes organizing and monitoring order deliveries involving various parties (suppliers, freight forwarders, authorities, clients) until. The process ensures timely receipt of customer payments and oversees shipping documents, progress reports, and vendor documentation. It also includes monitoring project performance after sales.
• Procedures and quality: involves properly filing all sales documents as per the company s procedure, maintaining all trading in compliance with the company s terms, and liaising with the Legal Department to review contractual documents in case of sensitive projects or claims. The process also includes handling client complaints by taking immediate action and reporting to the QSHE Manager.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
• Fresh Graduate BSc. Mechanical Engineer with a maximum of 2 years of experience , preferably in a similar position,
• Knowledge of Sales / Commerce / Trading principles,
• Knowledge of Pipes, Fittings and Valves used in Building, Water & Infrastructure industry, and related technical specifications,
• Proficient in both verbal and written English communication skills ,
• Willingness to work from time to time on a flexible schedule if required by workload,
• Computer literate with the ability to learn new software applications such as ERP .
