Job Description
Inventory Management:
- Receive and inspect incoming materials or products.
- Record and document all incoming and outgoing items.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using computerized or manual systems.
Organization and Storage:
- Properly store items to maximize space utilization and ensure easy access.
- Implement and maintain an organized system for easy retrieval of goods.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
Issuing and Dispatching:
- Prepare and package items for shipment or delivery.
- Ensure timely and accurate issuance of items to internal departments or external customers.
- Coordinate with other departments to fulfill material requests.
Quality Control:
- Monitor and report any damaged or defective items.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure that products meet the required standards.
Communication:
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments.
- Provide information on inventory levels and availability as needed.
Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to safety and security protocols for handling materials.
- Comply with relevant regulations and company policies.
Equipment Maintenance:
- Operate and maintain storage equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.
Reporting:
- Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, stock movement, and other relevant metrics.
- Provide insights and recommendations for improving inventory management processes.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in inventory management or a related field may be preferred.
- Knowledge of basic computer applications and inventory management software.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical fitness, as the role may involve lifting and moving heavy items.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in construction company MANDATORY!
