Job Description

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To be responsible for meeting budgeted revenue and profit targets. To manage and develop strategies to promote Company Operations Division into a world class provider of Maintenance and Modification Projects.

JOB OBJECTIVES

1. To produce a definitive departmental strategy and structured plan in conjunction with Business Development Personnel to ensure Company strategic objectives are met

2. To develop a combined strategy between Operations and Tendering ensuring submitted bids are commensurate with local market conditions, incorporate an appropriate degree of expertise and preclude the company from financial risk

3. To source graduate Engineers to progressively develop for back up and senior staff positions and evaluate incumbent staff for ongoing development, reallocation and or replacement

4. To initiate evaluation and training programs for all personnel in order to meet Company business objectives and broaden individual and company skills base for succession planning and career development.

5. To encourage and promote effective two-way communication at all levels to ensure all personnel are aware of departmental and Company objectives and possible constraints

6. To form close working alliances with all support departments and supply advance information on all forthcoming projected and identified resource requirements

7. To monitor and control the budget and budget-awareness within the department to ensure objectives are met within agreed limits

8. To maintain awareness of new technologies and products that will increase the efficiency of the department and continuously devise and improve methods to stay ahead of the competition

9. To develop a professional and open relationships with clients whilst ensuring the interests of the Company are protected and to actively pursue the broadening of Company client base.

10. Develop Key team members with growth potential within the Organization

11. Maintain and develop processes/ procedures to ensure control of the delivery of all projects including Quality, Safety, Project Management/Controls to ensure profitability and delivery or projects and stakeholders

12. Assurance of safety expectation of the company and stakeholder. Adhering to company policy and rules and roll out programs and key initiates.

13. Maintain and develop good work practices to meet Order Intake and revenue targets of the organization.
