Our company is looking for a CHIEF ENGINEER who will be responsible for the following:
1. plan, develop, and implement effective technical/ maintenance services in the site
2. overlook, plan, and execute activities for engineering and maintenance, at sites, ADHOC jobs, VAS works management, helpdesk and facilities
3. identify, develop, and implement training programs for staff
3. conduct periodic site inspection of facilities, assess problems and needs, and implement improvements in operations as appropriate
4. conduct periodic reviews of the existing services SOPs and checklist to ensure maximum staff productivity and efficiency of services to clients
5. coordinate and arrange third party services for annual maintenance contractors, suppliers, vendors
6. complete financial forecasting duties, generate/ update maintenance budgets/ schedules, and ensure efficient, cost effective administration of facility technical operations
7. prepare and contribute to Capex and Opex Budgeting related to maintenance expenses
8. ensure facility operations are in compliance with established procedures, policies, local regulations, and codes
9. conduct internal audits, hazard identification and risk analysis (HIRA), operation control procedures (OCP), objectives and targets, EHS management programmes in entire facility management operations then submit reports to management
10. support and liaise closely with the clients management staff in developing short and long term goals and plans
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. has degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or any related course
2. has at least 7 to 10 years experience in FM services (preferably in GCC)
