About Us: We are seeking a talented and creative Textile Designer to join our design team at Benedizione Fashion and contribute to the innovation and quality of our textile products.
Responsibilities:
1. Design and Development: -Conceptualize and create original textile designs for various applications, including apparel, home textiles, and accessories.
- Collaborate with the design team to develop cohesive and marketable collections.
2. Trend Research:
- Stay abreast of current fashion and textile trends to inform design decisions.
- Conduct trend research and analysis to anticipate market demands.
3. Material and Color Selection:
- Source and select appropriate materials and colors for each design.
- Ensure compatibility with production processes and cost-effectiveness.
4. Pattern Creation:
- Develop and refine patterns using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Create repeat patterns and experiment with various motifs and layouts.
5. Collaboration with Production Team:
- Work closely with the production team to ensure seamless execution of designs.
- Provide detailed specifications and guidelines for manufacturing.
6. Quality Control:
- Conduct quality control checks on samples and finished products to ensure designs are accurately reproduced.
- Make necessary adjustments to designs based on feedback.
7. Client Collaboration:
- Collaborate with clients, design teams, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements.
- Present design concepts and incorporate feedback.
8. Market Presentations:
- Prepare and deliver presentations showcasing new designs to internal teams and clients.
- Communicate the inspiration and story behind each collection.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Textile Designer, preferably in the fashion or textile industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools.
- Strong understanding of textile techniques, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent artistic and creative abilities with a keen eye for color, pattern, and texture.
- Knowledge of market trends and an ability to translate them into innovative designs.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on precision and quality.
