Job Description

JOB PURPOSE
Responsible for planning and development of sales activity within a country. Develop customer relationships and negotiate terms with customers in a designated sales area, supporting the maximisation of net contribution from the customer and country. Take the initiative to identify and develop new business opportunities (with both new and existing customers) to support this objective.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintain that all the systems are up to date with the sufficient data.
  • Maintain personal relationship with all key customers.
  • Update all the customers data on the companys system.
  • Align with and may visit customers within designated sales area to negotiate prices, securing best cargo mix to meet the various volume and Net contribution targets set as per Sales plan.
  • Liaise with Operations, Customer Service and other departments to overcome operational issues.
  • Ensure overall that communication between Sales and other departments is running smoothly.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

This position for entry level - Fresh graduates can apply with goos kowledge in Shipping field.

  • A bachelor level education
  • An excellent command of the English language both verbally and in writing
  • Strong sales capability in the shipping field is a must
  • Sales experience +1 years in inbound sales.
  • Strong communication skills, good at interpersonal relationships.
