K E A Building Contracting, is currently seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) for our projects.
Position: Quantity Surveyor with QA/QC Experience
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in the construction industry
Nationality: Preferably Philippine or Arabic
Language Skills: Proficient in English
Key Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor
- Strong background in Quality Assurance/Quality Control in construction projects
- Proficiency in English is essential
- Proficiency in using software tools for quantity surveying and QA/QC documentation.
- Knowledge of Autocad, Plant Swift, or Cost X (Revit would be advantage)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Relevant certifications in Quantity Surveying and QA/QC would be advantageous.
- Proficiency in quantity take-off, cost estimating, and preparing bills of quantities (BOQ).
- Knowledge of construction contracts, variations, and change order management.
- Strong understanding of QA/QC principles and methodologies in construction projects.
- Experience in developing and implementing QA/QC plans and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting cost estimation, preparation of bills of quantities, and tender documentation
- Ensuring compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, standards, and best practices in both quantity surveying and QA/QC.
- Collaborating with project teams to optimize cost-effectiveness
- Implementing QA/QC processes to maintain project quality
- Utilizing Autocad, Plant Swift, and Cost X for project-related tasks
- Prepare comprehensive reports on both quantity surveying and QA/QC findings.
- Coordinate and manage both quantity surveying and QA/QC activities within project timelines.
