Our client, a cryptocurrency exchange based in Dubai, UAE, is actively seeking a qualified Chinese national residing in Dubai for the role of Chief Executive Officers Special Assistant. This key position entails serving as the primary support to the CEO, with a particular focus on finance and cryptocurrency matters. The ideal candidate should exhibit a high degree of professionalism, the ability to work autonomously, make swift decisions, and maintain composure in high-pressure scenarios.
Key responsibilities include executing tasks assigned by the CEO, ensuring timely and high-quality completion of all projects, and representing the CEO in communications with internal departments and external stakeholders. The role necessitates in-depth analyses of financial and cryptocurrency markets, provision of strategic advice, and formulation of action plans for the CEO. Monitoring regulatory changes in the cryptocurrency sector, ensuring compliance, managing investment portfolios, and fostering relationships with key stakeholders are integral components of the role.
Additional duties involve preparing materials for high-level meetings, managing the CEOs schedule, prioritizing key meetings and urgent matters, and representing the CEO at events. The successful candidate must be available during non-standard working hours to address urgent tasks and projects.
Applicants should hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in finance, economics, blockchain technology, or related fields, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the financial industry, showcasing a deep understanding of the cryptocurrency market. Strong analytical, decision-making, and execution skills, coupled with organizational prowess, time management abilities, and a professional demeanour, are essential. A high degree of confidentiality, professional ethics, and a profound sense of responsibility are indispensable qualities for success in this role.
