Job Title: E-Commerce and Accounting Coordinator (100% remote)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented E-Commerce and Accounting Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who is skilled in managing online retail platforms, specifically Shopify, and has a strong background in setting up and maintaining accounting records. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing our e-commerce operations, coordinating with various team members, creating strategic plans, and handling a variety of document-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting Records Management:

  • Set up and maintain accurate accounting records.
  • Handle bookkeeping tasks, including but not limited to invoicing, tracking expenses, and managing accounts payable/receivable.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
  • Having knowledge in Tax and VAT as per the UAE and GCC law

E-Store Management on Shopify:

  • Oversee the daily operations of our e-store on Shopify.
  • Update product listings, manage inventory levels, and ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Analyze e-commerce data to improve sales strategies and customer engagement.

Team Coordination and Collaboration:

  • Work closely with various departments, including marketing, sales, and logistics, to ensure cohesive business operations.
  • Schedule and lead meetings to discuss progress and brainstorm new ideas for business growth.
  • Resolve any inter-departmental issues efficiently and professionally.

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and implement business plans to enhance e-commerce presence and profitability.
  • Stay updated with e-commerce trends and market demands to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with management to set short-term and long-term business goals.

Document Creation and Formatting:

  • Prepare, create, and format various types of business documents, including reports, presentations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure all documentation is clear, accurate, and professionally presented.
  • Manage document storage and retrieval systems effectively.
  • Work as a Document Controller and maintain the documentation

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in e-commerce management, particularly with Shopify.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and experience in handling accounting records.
  • Excellent coordination and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in creating and formatting professional documents.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.
