Fit out Project Engineer | Abu Dhabi, UAE. We are looking for Project Engineer to join our Interior Design & Build Company in Abu Dhabi. For this position, candidates must have 4+ years of experience working within the fit-out industry on a Project Engineer position. Multi-area experience in commercial & retail, F&B, Offices, Govt. Projects, Tenders, Healthcare in FIT-Out, Joinery & MEP a must. Mall retail fit-out experience desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Handle the entire design & build life-cycle of multiple projects from initiation/design stage, construction until the handover.
- Manage the execution of the project and ensure the project is completed on time and within the approved budget.
- Manage teams to achieve project goal. and execute projects accordingly, with efficient Client Relationship Management
- Executing projects while maintaining maximum profitability to the company
- Identifying and developing vendors and contractors for the project execution
Roles:
Project initiation:
- Interacting with clients to understand their specific requirements.
- Site & Client requirement gathering & documentation, assisting estimation team on scope of work.
Design:
- Responsible for obtaining the approvals on concept & drawings of the project from all concerned authorities.
Planning:
- Assist in preparation of accurate project programs.
- Development of procurement and time schedules for each fit out project.
- Track project milestones and deliverables.
- Drawing detailed project plans, cost estimates, cost benefit analysis to ascertain technical and commercial viability
Execution:
- Implement the project programs on site in an organized and cost-effective manner in accordance with the approved design, quality standards and within agreed time frames.
- Coordinate the project with internal team members and sub-contractors with regards to time schedule, material specifications with quality on time.
- Liaise with all departments to achieve project objectives.
- Keep proper and updated records of site survey, logs and report on daily activities. Supervise the site regularly, keep the client updated on the progress of the project.
Close-out:
- Ensure a smooth Hand Over of the site to the client
