Job Description
Hands-on experience in Horticulture and irrigation maintenance to complete site management. Possess in depth knowledge on all aspect of landscaping operations including cost control, and personnel management. Well versed in the maintenance of community/Public realm landscaping, turf grass, nurseries, and irrigation execution work.
- Responsible for all phases of landscaping maintenance, execution, cost control, and personnel management.
- Exceptional knowledge of the classification and the peculiar requirements of endemic and sub-tropical plants.
- Specializes in preparation and transplanting of large trees boxed and containerized.
- Oversees production, care and maintenance of plant material and associated irrigation system.
- Supervise and coordinate with inspectors to ensure all works are appropriately monitored.
- Attend weekly / monthly meetings as necessary with specific regard to landscape and HSSE issues.
- Provide landscape input to weekly / monthly reports.
- Giving inputs in designs and coordination with consultants.
- Ensure correctness and completeness of ‘as-built’ drawings in line with all landscape works.
- Review the days work with the Supervisor.
- Inspects construction of irrigation and landscape improvements.
- Submission of MIR/IR to consultant for project inspection
- Leading the supervisor in operations, quality control, training, punctuality, and safety.
- Supervision of supervisors and foremen on the application of irrigation based on temperature and plant requirements.
- Advice on the application of insecticides, fungicides, herbicides and fertilizers according to the site situation and requirements.
- Supervision of supervisors & staff of maintenance team on daily basis.
- Execution of landscape and irrigation small, medium and large-scale projects
- Invoice preparation, submitting and payment follow up.
- Preparation and submitting of monthly landscape and irrigation maintenance improvement reports for invoice submission.
