Role Summary: The HR Lead Middle East & Representative Markets is accountable for driving the HR agenda across the assigned markets and client groups in a trustful and solution-oriented collaboration, for partnering with the respective local Operating Committees and for ensuring that all key HR processes (from hire to retire) work properly. Key Role Accountabilities: The HR Lead Middle East & Representative Markets is an expert in all areas of Human Resources fields in the assigned market and has experience in aligning global programs such as Talent Acquisition, Workforce Planning, Performance Management, Talent Planning, Employee Engagement to local culture, life-cycle and law. The role incumbent is also change champion for their respective areas of responsibility. Organizational Effectiveness & Workforce Planning Translate business strategy and organizational needs into solutions for organizational design. Design organization structures, capabilities and people practices to create an effective and efficient organization capable of achieving business strategy Identify the type of workforce and organizational capabilities needed in order to execute strategic business priorities Strategic Talent Management Enable the organization to attract, develop, motivate, and retain productive, engaged employees Develop and execute an integrated local & regional talent strategy for their assigned markets and client groups, including succession and talent development plans Change & Communication Guide how we prepare, equip and support people to successfully adopt change in order to drive organizational success Develop and execute a change strategy to support the workforce plan, identifying change activities and cross-organizational interdependencies Manage conflict in a sensitive and trustful manner and highest professionalism Partner with national and international HR colleagues on cross-functional initiatives and projects to implement and evolve HR programs and policies. Role Qualifications and Skills: Leadership skills: Strategic consultant for markets’ leaders Change agent Matrix leadership Demonstrate BMS Leadership capabilities Prioritization skills HR competence: Expert in all critical HR processes (from hire to retire) including local law Capacity to act strategically coupled with hands-on mentality for implementing strategic HR initiatives Ensure alignment to the corporate HR policies, projects, initiatives, philosophy, objectives and processes Demonstrated ability to develop leadership, both personally and through organizational programs and processes Experience in developing recruitment strategies to assist clients achieve staffing needs Influence management to make appropriate assessments of employee performance and potential Collaboration: Cooperate with and being a member of local market Operating Committee Establish an effective working relationship between key business and HR Interact with employees at all levels, demonstrating awareness of their needs, background and culture Establish trust and credibility by knowing the culture of the organization Outstanding organizational skills, a good sense of priorities and a pragmatic approach Drive High Performing Team concept Ability to use negotiation and mediation skills in dealing with conflict Compliance: Knowledge of local labor laws and market practises Close cooperation with Legal & Compliance Promote compliance culture within BMS Keep up to date with BMS policies and processes Identify potential compliance pain points and drive resolution/control framework Ability to optimally balance risk and reward Additional Skills: English language skills mandatory Promote diverse and inclusive culture based on trust Proficiency in data-driven decision making, accompanied by effective judgment Project management skills Analytical skills Coaching and listening skills Organizational savvy both informally and formally Communication Skills: Communicates articulately, credibly and convincingly.
