Job duties and responsibilities
- Capable of collaborating with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project as required.
- Capable of negotiating contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
- Capable of obtaining permits and licenses from appropriate authorities as and when required.
- Capable of determining needed resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations.
- Planning all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be achieved.
- Capable of acquiring equipment and material and monitoring stocks to timely handle inadequacies.
- Capable of hiring contractors and other staff and allocating responsibilities.
- Capable of supervising the work of laborers, mechanics etc. and giving them guidance when required.
- Capable of evaluating progress and preparing detailed reports.
- Ensuring adherence to all health and safety standards and reporting issues as raised.
Job qualifications/requirements
- At least 2 – 21/2 years of experience working as a Project Manager within the construction and boring industry in any GCC countries.
- Preferably candidates with a degree or qualification in Project Management.
- In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
