Job Description: We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Coordinator to join our construction team. The Procurement Coordinator will be responsible for managing the procurement process, sourcing materials and services, and ensuring that all purchases are made in a cost-effective and timely manner to support our construction projects.


Responsibilities:

  • Source materials, equipment, and services required for construction projects, obtaining quotes and negotiating prices with suppliers.
  • Review project plans and specifications to determine material requirements and develop procurement strategies accordingly.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to forecast material needs and ensure timely delivery.
  • Issue purchase orders and contracts to approved vendors and subcontractors, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Track orders and deliveries, monitoring supplier performance and resolving any issues or delays that may arise.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, expenditures, and supplier information using procurement software or other tools.
  • Assist with inventory management, including tracking stock levels, identifying shortages, and replenishing supplies as needed.
  • Prepare reports and analysis on procurement activities, including cost savings, supplier performance, and market trends.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and new products to make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations and standards.
