Job Description: We are seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for construction projects. The MEP Project Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of MEP installations, ensuring they meet project requirements, quality standards, and regulatory codes.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to develop MEP design plans and specifications for construction projects.
- Review project plans and specifications to identify MEP requirements, constraints, and opportunities for value engineering.
- Manage the procurement of MEP materials, equipment, and subcontractors, ensuring they are sourced, ordered, and delivered on time and within budget.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring MEP installations are completed on time and in coordination with other construction activities.
- Oversee MEP installation and construction activities on-site, ensuring they are executed safely, efficiently, and according to design plans and specifications.
- Monitor MEP work progress and quality, conducting regular site inspections and coordinating with subcontractors to address any issues or deficiencies.
- Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues, conflicts, and change orders related to MEP systems.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards for MEP installations.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of MEP installations, including progress reports, inspection records, and as-built drawings.
- Communicate regularly with project team members and stakeholders to provide updates on MEP work progress, issues, and solutions.
