We are seeking to recruit a Theme Park Senior Resident Engineer for a full-time permanent position with Tier 1 Engineering Consultancy for their offices in Riyadh (KSA) Middle east.
Our client are a leading PMC organisation with offices across the globe. They are seeking a Senior Resident Engineer with experience of Theme park projects.
The position will report to the Senior Project Manager for Civil construction and oversee the Contractor on the project.
- The role will Liaise with the Construction Manager, Resident Engineer’s, Authorities, Contractor’s or Consultants who interface with the project.
- Assumes the role of the Engineer’s Delegate in administering the Contract Administration.
- Ensures sections of works are constructed as per contract requirements.
- Reviews Contractor submissions and shop drawings, and responds to the Contractors request for information.• Preparation and presentation of Progress reports. As well as recording works completed.
- Liaison with the commercial management and planning engineering teams.
- Certification of progress payments, equipment and material costs for Variation and Change Orders
- Monitors overall site safety by monitoring activities, meetings, reviews, safety violations.
- Candidates should have a minimum of 20 years of overall experience ( years from degree qualification)
- A degree qualification BSc in a relevant construction or Engineering discipline such as Civil Engineering.
- A PMP or Masters Qualification is highly desirable for this position. As well as a professional engineering registration
- Experience as a Resident Engineer for Theme Park projects. Candidates must show that they have completed a number of Theme Park projects.
- Record of working for Engineering Consultancy organisations for Site Supervision
- Strong Experience of the understanding of FIDIC based Contracts.
- Excellent English language skills.
- You should have the ability and experience to manage manage a team of engineers on a demanding project
- Solid client liaison experience at a Senior Level
This is a full-time permanent position with a Tier 1 PMC organisation. The role is based in Riyadh
- A Total package salary of 40-55,000 SAR per month. This can be discussed on a case-by-case basis and is negotiable for the right person.
- Medical insurance cover is provided on top of the basic salary
- Mobilisation flights and visa costs.
- Bonus as per Saudi Law
