We are reputed Engineering Consultants based in Doha, We are looking for HOD structural Department with more than 15+ years of experience, preferable will be given to some with Consultant Background.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the team of Structural Engineers by delegating work according to projects priorities, technical challenges, and contractual milestones.
  • Set out the statical system for structural design of the projects.
  • Provide technical oversight to the Structural staff engaged in design and documentation of projects.
  • Make authoritative design decisions and recommendations coordinated with project requirements.
  • Provide leadership in the exchange of knowledge relating to best, current international practice and in identification and analysis of new technology and trends.
  • Responsible for Design of all Structural systems and elements, issue the structural calculations …etc.
  • Deal with all the international standards and Codes and all others Structural design programs & relevant Local Authority (KAHRAMAA, ASHGHAL, QCDD …… etc.).
  • Solve all Structural design problems.
  • Issue project specifications for all Structural disciplines, developing construction documents using MS Office, AutoCAD and/or Revit.
  • Coordination work with other departments.
  • Assist and help in preparing tenders and Quotations.
  • Plan and maintain project budgets and schedule planning activities with team and managers.
  • Monitoring, coaching, and developing Structural Engineering team members.
  • Documenting project issues/conditions.
  • Support review of subcontractors invoices, when required for technical assistance.
  • Assist the Contract/QS Manager on Technical and Department issues.
  • Attend the design progress & technical meetings, discuss, and suggest technical proposals.
  • Attend and lead Structural progress & technical meetings, discuss, and suggest technical proposals.
  • Coordinate with quantity surveyors or payment appreciations and change orders.
  • Maintaining organized and detailed project records.
  • Take part in project and risk management reviews.
  • Make site investigations and construction review if required.
  • Develop and maintain positive professional relations when dealing with current and prospective Clients.
