Job Description
Position Summary:
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth within UAE region for our event technology solutions. They will lead a team of sales leads, develop strategic sales plans, and cultivate strong relationships with key clients and partners to achieve revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership:
- Lead and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to penetrate the market and expand the customer base.
- Provide ongoing coaching, training, and performance management to ensure the success of the sales team.
- Business Development:
- Identify and prioritize target accounts and industries within the region.
- Develop and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and partners.
- Drive new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and lead generation activities.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to drive retention and upsell opportunities.
- Understand client needs, challenges, and objectives to propose tailored solutions and maximize customer satisfaction.
- Act as the primary point of contact for escalated client issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Market Analysis and Strategy:
- Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics to identify growth opportunities and threats.
- Provide insights and feedback to product management and marketing teams to enhance product offerings and positioning.
- Develop pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and value propositions to differentiate our solutions in the market.
- Sales Operations:
- Utilize CRM software to track sales activities, pipeline management, and forecast accuracy.
- Prepare regular sales reports, performance metrics, and forecasts for management review.
- Collaborate with sales operations and support teams to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field. MBA preferred.
- Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably in the technology or events industry.
- Previous experience in sales leadership or management role, with demonstrated ability to drive team performance.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel within the region as needed.
- Proficiency in CRM software (Zoho, Freshdesk, MS Suite).
