Job Description:

As a Tourism Manager at YABS Public Relations Management, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to promote tourism initiatives, attractions, and destinations. You will work closely with clients in the tourism industry to enhance their visibility, attract visitors, and drive tourism revenue.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive tourism marketing strategies to promote destinations, attractions, events, and travel experiences.
  • Identify target markets, demographics, and trends to tailor marketing campaigns and initiatives effectively.
  • Collaborate with clients to align tourism objectives with business goals and create impactful marketing plans.
  • Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital media, social media, print, and events.
  • Leverage partnerships with travel agencies, tour operators, airlines, hotels, and other stakeholders to enhance tourism promotion efforts.
  • Cultivate relationships with media outlets, journalists, bloggers, and influencers to generate positive coverage and publicity for tourism initiatives.
  • Coordinate press releases, media events, familiarization trips, and press tours to showcase destinations and attractions to key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with government agencies, tourism boards, industry associations, and local communities to support sustainable tourism development.
  • Liaise with destination management organizations, tour operators, and hospitality providers to create seamless visitor experiences and enhance destination appeal.
  • Provide guidance and support to clients in managing visitor expectations, enhancing visitor satisfaction, and addressing tourism-related challenges.
  • Monitor and analyze tourism metrics, including visitor arrivals, tourism spending, market share, and customer satisfaction, to evaluate the performance of marketing initiatives.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations to clients and stakeholders, highlighting key insights, trends, and recommendations for future strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Tourism Management, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in tourism marketing, destination management, or related roles.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and executing tourism marketing campaigns.
  • In-depth knowledge of tourism industry trends, market dynamics, and consumer behavior.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for promoting travel and tourism.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools, analytics platforms, and content management systems.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
