Job Description
Helion Capital is currently undergoing a restructuring phase for a partners establishment and seeking a highly experienced entrepreneurial Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a strong background in telecommunication services. The ideal candidate will have extensive CFO experience, experience in restructuring and turnarounds, Pre- and Post IPO processes, focusing on telecom-related functions rather than traditional accounting roles.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior financial leadership role.
- Proven track record as a CFO or in a similar capacity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA, CMA, CPA, or CFA qualification is a plus.
- Previous experience of leading a business through a trade sale or IPO exit is a plus.
- Specific experience in the telecommunication sector, understanding transaction-based models, and telecom-specific financial considerations.
- Proficiency in project financing within the industry.
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and business practices in the UAE and Middle East is essential.
- Proven ability to analyze complex financial situations and provide strategic recommendations within the telecom sector.
- Experience in managing relationships with both local and international financial institutions.
- Results-Oriented Mindset.
- Fluency in English is mandatory, knowledge in German an additional plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive analyses of companies within the telecommunications.
- Make recommendations for mitigating risks and overcoming challenges
- Assess financial situations, identify opportunities, and recommend strategic financial decisions.
- Experience in structuring and negotiating financial deals for telecom projects.
- Developing contingency plans
- Provide insights and recommendations to both short term and long-term growth plan of organization.
