Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Fine Dining Restaurant Captain Waiter and Team Leader to join our upscale establishment. As a pivotal member of our team, you will embody the highest standards of hospitality while leading and inspiring our service staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests. This role requires excellent leadership skills, in-depth knowledge of fine dining service protocols, and a dedication to providing impeccable service.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the seamless flow of service, coordinating with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages.
- Demonstrate proficiency in fine dining service techniques, including tableside presentations, beverage service, and menu descriptions.
- Monitor table turnovers and optimize seating arrangements to maximize restaurant capacity without compromising guest experience.
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that food and beverages meet the restaurants standards of excellence.
- Lead, motivate, and mentor service staff to ensure consistent delivery of exceptional service.
- Conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate service objectives, menu updates, and special considerations.
- Delegate tasks efficiently, ensuring smooth operations during service hours.
- Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Anticipate guests needs and ensure they receive personalized attention throughout their dining experience.
- Resolve any guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, striving for guest satisfaction.
- Maintain a warm, welcoming, and attentive demeanor to enhance the overall dining atmosphere.
- Ensure that all service standards and protocols are adhered to by the team at all times.
- Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies and maintaining par levels for service equipment, linens, and tableware.
- Uphold health and safety regulations and ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are met in all areas of the restaurant.
Requirements:
- Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in a similar role within a fine dining establishment.
- Extensive knowledge of fine dining service etiquette, beverage pairing, and menu offerings.
- Exceptional leadership abilities with a track record of effectively managing and motivating a diverse team.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests and colleagues.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering memorable dining experiences.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Certification in food safety and/or hospitality management is preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: QAR2,300.00 - QAR2,800.00 per month
