Tasks Summary
- Implement the marketing and promotional activities that have been identified in the marketing plan.
- Supervise and guide marketing staff’s efforts properly, and coordinate the marketing and media activities with other departments of the university.
- Participate in selecting marketing personnel in terms of job analysis and description, identify required qualifications, and marketing staff training needs and the type of training required for each individual.
- Develop direct marketing programmes and oversee their implementation through contacting advertising agencies, and developing promotional and advertising plans and marketing offers in coordination with the Director of the Marketing & Public Relations.
- Implement media campaigns for the university, including participating in local and international exhibitions.
- Issue key marketing publications of the university, such as brochures and other promotional materials.
- Write and submit a quarterly report on the activities and achievements of the Marketing and Student Recruitment Office to the Director of the Marketing & Public Relations.
- Consultative Private Schools visits in Bahrain and GCC countries.
Qualifications & Experience
- Preferably with a Bachelor’s degree in media and communication or marketing and public relations.
- Preferably with 2-3 years’ experience in a similar position.
- Fluent in English Language.
- Knowledge of the most important news agencies and media organisations in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
- Good skills in MS Office suite of applications.
- Good Arabic and English writing skills.
- Good conversation and communication skills.
- The ability to provide and communicate information.
- Strong analytical capacity and good time-management skills.
- Good organisation and planning skills.
- The ability to prepare good quality reports.
