Restaurant Storekeeper cum Purchaser (Downtown Dubai)
We are urgently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the combined roles of Restaurant Storekeeper and Purchaser. You'll play a vital role in ensuring our kitchen runs smoothly by managing inventory and purchasing supplies.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate inventory control systems for all food and beverage items
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors
- Negotiate competitive prices for high-quality ingredients
- Source new products and stay updated on market trends
- Receive, inspect, and store deliveries according to safety and quality standards
- Conduct regular inventory checks and forecasts to prevent stockouts
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure on-time deliveries
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe storeroom environment
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role within the restaurant industry
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles (FIFO, LIFO)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to safety and hygiene standards
