Position:
WORKSHOP SUPERVISOR Job Summary:
Organize all client service requests and manage his workshop technicians so that they are fully utilized and are performing all jobs professionally. Job Duties: - Records observations and findings during diagnostics and decide on the correct method of repair, as necessary.
- Hands-on supervision of all workshop activities, especially technical issues.
- Conducts final check/test driving for all vehicles/trucks prior to release.
- Responsible of applying HSEQ standard in workshop area.
- Ensures all service work is executed efficiently and meeting with the client expectations.
- Ensures all mechanics have the correct equipment and tools enabling them to do their job correctly.
- Ensures all necessary service reports, timesheets and other paper work are completed on time.
- Controls the jobs and allocate the correct mechanic / technician to the job.
- Keeps the client informed of all progress of jobs, planning, scheduling and completion.
- Provides reporting to his Service Manager with respect to overall performance of his team.
- Creates a good sense of teamwork and ensure his team feel valued by the company.
- Ensures regular time keeping and meeting schedules and targets for his team and clients.
- Schedules maintenance of service equipment ensuring everything is well maintained clean and tidy and safe.
Qualifications: - High School Diploma or equivalent
- 5 years minimum experience required
- Soft skills training in addition to tehcnial training in the field of vehicles and heavy equipment
- Good written and spoken English and Arabic
