Job Description:
As a Unity Developer at Serotonin Technologies, you will play a crucial role in bringing our game concepts to life. You will be responsible for implementing game functionality, translating design ideas and requirements into a functional and captivating gaming experience. Collaborative problem-solving, attention to detail, and a dedication to delivering high-quality products are essential aspects of this role.
Responsibilities:
· Implement game functionality using Unity engine.
· Translate design concepts and requirements into a functional game.
· Collaborate with designers and artists to create engaging gameplay experiences.
· Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
· Optimize game performance for various platforms.
· Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
· Contribute to all aspects of game development, including gameplay, graphics, audio, and user interface.
· Stay up-to-date with the latest Unity development trends and best practices.
· Integration of New Technologies and Tools such as Generative AI.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
· Proficiency in Unity and C# programming language.
· Strong understanding of game design principles.
· Experience with game development tools and workflows.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively.
· Passion for gaming and a desire to create immersive experiences for players.
· Experience with AR/VR application development.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Previous experience developing and shipping games on multiple platforms (e.g., PC, console, mobile).
· Knowledge of 3D mathematics and algorithms.
· Familiarity with networking concepts and multiplayer game development.
· Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
· Knowledge of other programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) is a plus
