Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Interior and Civil Drafter to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate and comprehensive drawings for both interior design and civil engineering projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant drafting software is required, along with a strong understanding of Dubai’s regulatory requirements and DM approvals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with interior designers and civil engineers to translate design concepts and technical specifications into detailed drawings and plans.

2. Prepare floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details for interior spaces, including layouts, finishes, and furniture placement.

3. Create technical drawings for civil engineering projects, including structural, electrical, and plumbing plans, in accordance with industry standards and regulations.

4. Ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings, including dimensions, annotations, and symbols, to facilitate construction and installation.

5. Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors to incorporate design changes and resolve technical issues during the drafting process.

6. Assist in obtaining DM approvals and permits by preparing and submitting drawings and documentation as required.

7. Maintain organized files and documentation of drawings and revisions for easy reference and retrieval.

8. Collaborate with project teams to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality drawings within established timelines.

9. Stay updated on industry best practices, software updates, and emerging technologies to enhance drafting efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Interior and Civil Drafter, preferably in Dubai.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other drafting software.
• Strong understanding of Dubai’s regulatory requirements and experience obtaining DM approvals.
• Excellent technical drafting skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to interpret design concepts and technical specifications into comprehensive drawings.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
• Proactive mindset with a commitment to meeting project deadlines and deliverables.
